“We humans have lost the wisdom of genuinely resting and relaxing. We worry too much. We don’t allow our bodies to heal, and we don’t allow our mind and hearts to heal.”
After thirty posts and seventeen months, I am following the famed Vietnamese peace activist and Buddhist monk’s advice.
For the next three months, seventiesology will stretch, yawn, find a hammock, sleep, visit with friends, family and out-of-town guests, nap, enjoy walks in the forest and by the bay, sleep some more, read, write, nap, and attend a wedding.
I sincerely appreciate those of you following, reading the posts, and cheering me on as I had six pieces published online, between the site’s launch and now.
As we used to say back in the day, catch you on the flip flop.
