Revision – Post 40 by Gavin Lakin

Revision, n. The process of revising. The action or process of reviewing, editing and amending. In his third revision of the manuscript, the author pulled out what left of his hair.

In the months ahead I will be revising my novel. The task in daunting. Like any challenge, I take pride in embracing the process without adding unnecessary pressure. This past month, I have received the highest quality of insightful notes and guidance from a professional editor. This, alone, has elevated me to a frame of mind where I believe I can deliver the goods. Bring it on!

For those of you who enjoy reading my posts, thank you for understanding my planned three-month hiatus from 1970s snapshots. The decade isn’t going anywhere; in fact, in January we’ll all be celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of 1970.

Catch you on the rebound.

Gavin
